More or less a music topic. So let's hear it, what kinda grooves do you dungeon fighters dice to?

Just a few from my playlist, but I do love slicing/shooting it up to these songs. So what kinda grooves does StrifeCo rip it up to eh? >;3

Yeah while I've only played one of the games (and got utterly destroyed by a wall of energy bullets) I love the sound tracks, since the remixes take on a life of their own. ^^b Now that I look at it, a good chunk of my playlist is Touhou without realizing it haha... with Sable (and now Shade) I've gotta be able to imagine the char fighting to the music, so high speed tracks are pretty much my staple while on DFO >;3

First two are a bit too slow for my tastes, have always loved the third though ^^. And haha when you said Bebop, didn't realize you meant Cowboy Bebop haha. Now all I can see is the opening scene but with Strife members...lol >.< Curse my overactive imagination >.<

Haha we need to make that xD. And that was the best example I could go with lol. Yeah I could never get past the 5th level in original TouHou so I gave up~

Just a little something i listen to, bcz i enjoy fast music bcz i can just imagine my character fighting to the awesome music, and its reminds me of anime so i feel like its some kind of bad ass battle between two bad ass characters!

I honestly couldn't imagine playing DFO without music going, or do you mean you just keep the regular tracks going? I dunno, I gotta have something to fit the mood. I just notice that if the right groove is going to where I can try to sync attacks to the beat, it's practically impossible for me to mess up my fluidity with combo's on Sable hehe >:3

If I'm with friends I actually typically play slower, peaceful music (instrumental or trance), if I'm pissed or something just needs to die quicker then I'll go for the high speed / triumphant / gonna-own-you music (high speed techno variants or likewise high speed guitars).

I will say I do love DFO's soundtrack (especially Dragonoid, Purgatorium and the higher lvls of TOD), but after it repeats the umpteenth time I gotta toss on a mix or something haha.

Yeah those are both cool in progression, got a House feel to them too

The DJ in this one is just wow...and I dare to find something that can survive my grooving to this hehe... (skip to 1:10m for when the song drops and the combo's begin)

And likewise when I'm just chilling with everyone I toss stuff like these on

    lol have fun X3

Meh I can't do slow songs when I'm aiming to really fight. I mean I can do like orchestral to where it gives me the feeling of "You wronged me by doing <insert plot point>, now I'm taking revenge!"...yeah I have a bit of an overactive imagination haha.

But yeah I dunno if the songs too slow, I start slowing down. Thus, fail lol. So I restrict those paced songs for when the crew is just chatting/hanging hehe.

Typically the more fluid/faster the song, the more I reciprocate lol >;3
